When I found out Puesto was taking over the old Gordon Biersch location in Mission Valley I was stoked. I love their food, but when I found out the new Mission Valley location was going to be Puesto Cervecería I got SUPER stoked!
Puesto retained the head brewer (Doug Hasker) from Gordon Biersch and that was an excellent idea because Doug is known as the Lager King. He excels in this style of beer and his assistant Dan is just as knowledgeable when it comes to making a crisp lager is perfect for San Diego weather.
