I’m super stoked on this weeks edition of Beer for Breakfast because I got to try a brewery I’ve never had before, BLACK PLAGUE Brewing. BLACK PLAGUE Brewing is located in Oceanside and they are about to celebrate their 2 year anniversary.
President and owner, Jordan Hoffart and head-brewer Aeryk Heeg hung out with Paul and I to give us a taste of the BLACK PLAGUE. Jordan is a professional skateboarder and they have Tony Hawk as an investor so you never know who will be hanging out at the brewery, but you can almost guarantee that Jordan will be there. BLACK PLAGUE is an independently owned brewery that is run by it’s owners.
Now, onto the the fun part, the beer! Here’s what we tried:
Day Walker Red Ale 6.1% ABV
Hazing Scandal Hazy IPA 6.1% ABV
Bring Out Your Dead IPA 7.2% ABV
