With Beer X on the horizon (Saturday, August 20) this was the perfect time to let the cat out of the bag and debut the 91X Karl Strauss collaboration beer!
But before Marty, Danielle, and Brewmaster Paul dive into the new collab they sampled this years Karl Strauss Brewing Oktoberfest.
Oktoberfest comes once a year and Karl Strauss got a jump on theirs. This 5% ABV Oktoberfest Lager will make your momentarily forget about the warm temperatures were experiencing right now and transport you to cool fall weather. Vienna and Munich malts produce a deep golden color, nutty undertones, and toasted malt flavors characteristic.
Now for the main event: West Coast X IPA
Karl Strauss and 91X teamed up to make a 6.8% ABV West Coast IPA that will make your say “F Yeah!”
This West Coast IPA utilizes Citra, Simcoe, Strata, and Sultana hops and ever sip will make you want another. West Coast X IPA will debut today at Beer X in Waterfront Park and will be available at Karl Strauss tasting rooms following.
