Resident Brewing is turning 6 and the Beer for Breakfast crew got a jump start on the celebration.
Brewmaster Paul Segura treated Marty and Danielle to two very special releases for Resident’s anniversary. They start with Impressionist, a Chardonnay Barrel Aged Saison with Pear, Ginger, and Orange Blossom Honey coming in 6.7% ABV. Effervescent and dry, Impressionist leads with prominent notes of white wine before giving way to a fruity and herbaceous finish. It’s refreshing, complex, and guaranteed to make a fantastic first impression.
They also tried Beauty, a Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Cacao Nibs, Vanilla Beans, and Raspberries which comes in at 12.1% ABV. One sip of this beer and you’d think you’re eating chocolate covered raspberries.
Get your hands on these specialty bottles at Resident Brewing’s anniversary party Saturday, April 9 from 4P – 8P at the tasting room in Downtown San Diego on C St and 4th Ave. It’s free to attend and is open to the public.
