This week on Beer for Breakfast Brewmaster Paul Segura brought beer from California’s 1st and only Native American owned brewery located on Tribal Lands:
Rincon Reservation Road Brewery
You can find Rincon Reservation Road Brewery at Harrah’s Resort SoCal in Funner, California and they also have a tasting room opening in Ocean Beach.
They kick things off with Rincon Oasis Blonde coming in at 4.2% ABV. It’s refreshing, light, perfect during the hot, dry days of summer. It’s low in hops, medium-bodied and enhanced with notes of fruit, the dry, malty sweetness.
They also had Rincon Chief IPA. Chief IPA is 6% ABV and is brewed with two-row wheat and oats to give it a dry, crisp, clean low malt flavor and balanced with Zappa, CTZ, and Chinook hops for a medium bitterness with hints of spice and pine.
