This week on Beer for Breakfast the crew samples a couple unique beers from Thorn Brewing that are available at SeaWorld San Diego Seven Seas Food Festival.
The Seven Seas Food Festival offers more than 100 flavors of food and drinks from around the world including an extensive craft beer selection. Marty, Danielle, and Brewmaster Paul Segura start things with Tepache Pineapple Sour. Tepache Pineapple Sour (5% ABV) is inspired by the traditional Mexican drink made by fermenting pineapple, piloncillo, and spices, this sour ale uses whole pineapples, a smidge of cinnamon, and a skosh of clove.
They also sampled Thorn’s canned Michelada lager (4% ABV). This authentic and delicious michelada features Barrio Lager, pure tomato juice, real lime juice, ocean clam juice, Worcestershire sauce, ponzu, and hot sauce.
Both of these beers as well as Seven Seas Blonde Ale and Strawberry Seltzer from Thorn Brewing are available at SeaWorld San Diego for the Seven Seas Food Festival going on Friday’s, Saturday’s, and Sunday’s now through April 30th.
