This week, we got a sneak peek at the 2025 San Diego Beer News Awards, taking place on Tuesday night, March 25th, at Societe Brewing. To kick off the excitement, we sipped on two of Societe Brewing’s most celebrated beers: The Pupil, a bold IPA at 7.5% ABV, and The Pugilist, a smooth Dry Irish Stout at 4.5% ABV. Both of these brews are true San Diego craft beer classics, embodying the best of the region’s brewing scene.
