Halloran

Whenever needed.

Halloran worked at the Mexican “border blaster” station 91X, where he advanced from evening DJ to program director. He discovered and promoted artists like Jewel, Blink-182, and Jason Mraz. Known for his ability to connect emerging artists with success, Halloran left 91X in 1996 when it was acquired by Clear Channel, returning in 2011 after programming other stations. He also started a pirate radio station for THE CURE, has played with notable bands, interviewed major artists, and was instrumental in hiring Shepard Fairey for design work. Halloran remains a respected and influential figure in radio.
