The amazing art & music collective, instigator, incubator enabler and general wonderful gift to southern California know as A SHIP IN THE WOODS is back with another art and music event. This event goes heavy on the art featuring the cerebral colorful craftings of one Kyle Ranson. Ranson’s works have been show at forward thinking galleries and events for years. Connecting Ranson to pop art or something you may have seen I will point to album art and other pieces for the incredible band called Thee Oh Sees. Approximately mid-way through the night of various experiences and joy make sure you catch local San Diego band – the color forty nine -. The Color Forty Nine have been nominated for Best New Artist by the San Diego Music Awards and are supporting a critically acclaimed new album. Come on down and support art and music, experience A SHIP IN THE WOODS. I will see you there before I head off to see Louis XIV at the Casbah…Do both, like me. – Lou Niles
