Glasmus is a word that probably didn’t exist before… and that’s how it was intended (no really, look it up). The newly formed (last year) California band is a Bilingüal (write songs in both English and Spanish) rock outfit that by it’s tug-of-war blend of Alternative Rock, Post-Punk and even Post-Rock might remind you of bands like Placebo, Kasabian, Queens Of The Stone Age or At The Drive-In among others.
Glasmus was formed from the ashes of two previous other bands that where active in the Tijuana/SD indie music scene for more than 6 years and where both National Finalists among thousands in what is considered Mexico’s biggest battle of the bands contest called “Rockampeonato”.
The band just recently released its self titled debut ep and will begin touring the California / Baja California area, before embarking on a 6 month long residency in Mexico City to continue promotion.
