A fortunate mistake, “The Hampton Beats “were conceived accidentally. San Diego based alt/rock band “Watch Us Burn” traveled to Tinsel Town to record their where producer Peter Simon and engineer Parker Timm impregnated the project with their fresh and unique spin on popular music.
Understudies of famed producer Dave Jerden ( Social Distortion, Alice in Chains, Jane’s Addiction, The Offspring), the pair collaborated with “Watch Us Burn” songwriter Eric Swank. In an effort to re vamp one of the band’s songs, “Mandroid”, Simon and Swank created “Party” which would ultimately dictate a new direction, the demise of “Watch Us Burn,” and the foundation of The Hampton Beats.
The Hampton Beats are currently in the studio recording their new single and will be filming a video for the single “Rough Day” in early February 2012
